The companies that will struggle are the ones who built their entire visibility strategy on gaming the algorithm — thin content designed to rank rather than help. AI is remarkably good at detecting that kind of stuff, and it won't cite it.

If you take one thing away from this, make it this: the businesses that do well in the AI search era will be the same ones that have always done well — the ones that actually help their customers and clearly communicate what they do.
